Welcome to Sayzo
For EveryoneWelcome to Sayzo. Sayzo is a hyperlocal, AI assisted task marketplace in India that connects people who need work done with verified local people who can do it. You describe what you need in plain language, Sayzo's AI turns it into a clear task, and you get matched to nearby, ID verified people who fit.
There are two roles on Sayzo. A Task Giver posts work and pays for it. A Task Doer does the work and earns. The same account can act in either role, so you can post a task today and take on tasks later.
This section gives you the big picture: what Sayzo is, the core ideas behind it, and how a task flows from start to finish. Each topic here has a dedicated section later in this manual that goes into detail, and we point you to it as we go.
What Sayzo is
Sayzo is a two sided local services marketplace. On one side, Task Givers post tasks such as design, development, marketing, tutoring, accounting, legal help and on the ground local assistance. On the other side, Task Doers offer their skills, get matched to nearby tasks, complete the work and get paid.
A few ideas run through everything on Sayzo:
- Plain language posting. You describe your task like a message, and Sayzo's AI reads it and builds a structured listing with a title, budget, skills and timeline. You review and confirm before anything goes live.
- Hyperlocal matching. Sayzo focuses on people near you, scanning verified Task Doers within your local radius so help is close by.
- Escrow protection. Your payment is held safely in Sayzo escrow and is released to the Task Doer only when you confirm the work is done.
- Verified and trusted. Task Doers complete identity and other checks, and ratings and reviews from past work appear on their profiles.
Sayzo is a technology platform that connects and supports people. It does not perform the work itself, and the agreement for a task is formed between the Task Giver and the Task Doer. You must be at least 18 years old to use Sayzo, and a few task categories are not allowed and are blocked automatically when posting. See Trust, Safety and Verification for what is and is not allowed.
The two roles: Task Giver and Task Doer
Everyone on Sayzo is either posting work, doing work, or both. Understanding the two roles makes the rest of the manual easier to follow.
Task Giver
A Task Giver posts a task, reviews matched people, agrees on terms, funds the payment into escrow and approves the delivery. If something goes wrong, the Task Giver can cancel, refund the held money before it is released, or raise a dispute. See For Task Givers: Posting and Managing Tasks for the full workflow.
Task Doer
A Task Doer builds a profile, verifies their identity, lists their skills, and gets matched to nearby tasks that fit. You do not have to bid or send proposals to be matched: Sayzo's AI matches incoming tasks to your skills and notifies you, and you can also apply to tasks directly. You complete the work, the Task Giver approves, and your earnings are released to you. See For Task Doers: Finding and Doing Work for the full workflow.
How a task works, end to end
Here is the journey of a task at a glance. Each step is covered in depth in its own section later in this manual.
- Describe your task. The Task Giver types what they need in plain language. Sayzo's AI extracts the budget, deadline, skills and category and builds the listing. You review and confirm before posting.
- Get matched. Once the task is live, Sayzo scans verified Task Doers near you, ranked by skill match, ratings and proximity, and surfaces the ones who fit.
- Review and align. The Task Giver reviews matched profiles and applications, then chats to discuss scope, price and timeline. Once both sides agree, Sayzo can unlock private calling and a video meeting so you can do a quick interview or brief before paying.
- Pay into escrow. When ready, the Task Giver funds the budget plus fees into Sayzo escrow. The money is held safely and is not sent to the Task Doer yet.
- Do the work. The Task Doer completes the task and communicates through Sayzo's built in chat. Everything stays on the platform.
- Approve and release. When the Task Giver is satisfied, they approve and the held payment is released to the Task Doer. If something is wrong, the Task Giver can raise a dispute instead.
See Getting Started: Creating Your Account, Matching and Skill Scoring, Chat and Calls, and Payments, Escrow and Payouts for the details behind each step.
Core concepts to know
A handful of terms appear throughout Sayzo. Getting comfortable with them now will help everywhere else.
- Task. A piece of work, online or offline, that a Task Giver posts and a Task Doer completes.
- Applications and matches. When a task is live, Sayzo shows AI matched Task Doers and any people who applied directly. The Task Giver reviews both before choosing.
- Match score. Each matched person shows a percentage score that reflects how well they fit the task, displayed as a simple bar labelled with the score.
- Verification and trust. Task Doers complete identity verification and other checks, and a Verified badge shows a particular check was completed. Ratings, reviews and task history help you choose with confidence.
- Chat and calls. Conversations happen in Sayzo's built in chat. After both sides agree, private calling and a video meeting can be unlocked for a quick interview or brief.
- Escrow. The Task Giver's payment is held by Sayzo's payment partner and released only on approval, refundable until then.
- Reviews. After a task, ratings and reviews are recorded and shown on profiles, building each person's reputation over time.
A Verified badge and other trust signals reduce risk but are not a guarantee. Always communicate, agree on terms and keep payments on the platform. See Trust, Safety and Verification for guidance.
Trust, safety and your money
Sayzo is built so that money is handled carefully and both sides are protected.
- No advance payments. The Task Doer is never paid in advance. The Task Giver's money sits in Sayzo escrow and is released only after the Task Giver approves the delivery.
- Refundable until release. Before the money is released, the Task Giver can refund all or part of the held amount.
- Disputes. If work is not delivered or does not match what was agreed, the Task Giver can raise a dispute from the task. Sayzo reviews both sides and decides fairly.
- Keep it on Sayzo. Paying outside Sayzo removes escrow protection, so always keep payments and communication on the platform.
- Verified people. Task Doers complete identity verification, and ratings and reviews appear on their profiles so you can choose with confidence.
